Gyeonggi Global Software Fusion Center (GGSFC, provisional name) which is encouraging a 'smart Korea' for new growth in the 21st century, smart phones and mobile services, will be established at Jukjeon campus. On February 10, DKU made an agreement with Smart-Gyeonggi Forums to establish the GGSFC at Jukjeon campus in 'Smart Korea, Smart Network Fusion Services' hosted by Gyeonggi Small & Medium Business Center. GGSFC is taking an important role in the software industry in Gyeonggi province through a relation with the Industry-University-Institute Collaboration and Gwanggyo-Jukjeon-Pangyo Digital-Valley which is the center of the digital industry in Gyeonggi province. Also, the GGSFC is expected to secure the base for the global industrial competitiveness through developing experts for mobile convergence and supporting youth entrepreneurship.
