On May 13, 'Dankook University Azalea Festival', fairground of harmony and communication in Performing Place was held with student, university member and citizens attending. Soccer team of DKU beat the Gyeongju University with a gratifying victory in the U-league before the festival and the president Hosung Chang declaimed the opening speech. "Azalea Festival is made by vice president of DKU and this year is the second anniversary of festival. I hope that this festival will go down in history of Chungchengnam-do over the Cheonan city. Enjoy yourself!" At the first onset, Yeon-Hwa Beak, a professor at the Academy of Continuing Education and members played music on the accordion. Next Seong-Jung Kim, a chief at the Academy of Continuing Education performed a wonderful saxophone solo and so on. 'Picture Contest of Azalea,' 'Garden Party,' 'Drawing for Ticket of Luck' were held everywhere during the festival.
