Dankook University (DKU) and Hyundai Hospital made a cooperative agreement for promotion of exchanges at the Grand Conference Room in Cheonan Campus on September 28, promoting substantial exchange programs such as personal exchanges, medical support, scholarship support and employment connections. Hyundai Hospital is planning expansion into Mongolia as a part of the 'Korea-Mongolia Medical Health Care Cooperation Agreement.' Following the contract, DKU will take charge of sending Mongolia experts, supplying information and overseeing advisory activities to support the hospital's Mongolia expansion. In addition, DKU students will carry out annual volunteer activities in conjunction with Hyundai Hospital in Mongolia. Jong-Jin Cho, the vice-president of DKU said, "we will cooperate with Hyundai Hospital based on our expert knowledge of Mongolia accumulated over the 20-year lifespan of our university's Department of Mongolia Studies. We hope it remains as a successful case of cooperation between a specialized department and a medical center for promotion of overseas expansion."
