President Chang is singing a MOU with Zhou Qifeng (President of PKU)
On May 8, Dankook University (DKU) and Peking University (PKU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This MOU, which was signed by Hosung Chang (President of DKU) and Zhou Qifeng (President of PKU) promises to make efficient programs helpful to both universities and to promote exchange, including students and professors and joint academic research. DKU and PKU have had a cooperative agreement from 2004. In 2009, Chungsik Chang, Honorary President of DKU visited PKU and presented a Korean-Chinese unabridged dictionary. Chang emphasized that the will and potential of DKU for Oriental studies could constitute a valuable opportunity for PKU. PKU is a prestigious university ranking first among universities in China and 37th among universities evaluated by TIME Magazine. "I expect that joint research in IT, CT, and BT, which is our strategy for progress, and personal exchange will go forward through this MOU," said President Chang.
