Q. I heard that all students in Dankook University need an English score to graduate. What score should I get to graduate? But I do not have any TOEIC or TOEFL scores and I am not good at English either. Are there any other ways? (Jun Yang, Dept. of Communication, Freshman)

A. Yes, there is. Attend the IEDU program(Immersion English at Dankook niversity). This winter program will be progressed from 22 December to January 11, 2011, for 15 days, in Jukjeon campus. Participators attend for five hours a day and you can pass the Official English Graduation Confirmation System(OEGCS) without
any English scores if you get over 70 points out of 100 in the test which
is progressed in IEDU. Program expense is only 69,000 won which is cheaper than general English academies. Therefore, pass the OEGCS and have confidence about English with IEDU. However, the requirement for English scores are different for each college and different for each English test. The TOEIC average score is over
700 and TEPS average score is over 600. You need to get these scores to
graduate.

 Q. To enhance my competitive power for getting a job, I want to make a job club. Could everyone make a job club? And then, when the club is confirmed, what support does the school have? (Seul-Bi Lee, Dept. of International Trade, Sophomore)

A. To apply to make a job club, only Sophomore and Junior can apply to form a job club with more than 3.0 GPA. If your club is confirmed as a job club, the school will support 500,000 won as an operation cost for each job club. And students who belong to a job club are eligible for employment courses. Moreover
students in a job club will be given employment consultant's service which helps students career by 1:1 consulting. We hope that students' colearning and sharing their job information through job club activities will be improved.
