▲ Relics in the exhibition for Chang hyung’s 50th demise.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition for Chang Hyung Bum Jung was held on October 31 11:30a.m. in the first floor hall of the Seok Juseon Memorial Museum on the Jukjeon campus. Distinguished guests and the heads of Dankook University all participated in the opening event. This year marked the 50th anniversay of the passing of Chang Hyung, founder of Dankook University. This exhibition was planned as a memorial ceremony and helped many of the attendees reflect on his life, his goals and his accomplishments.

This exhibition entitled ‘Dankook, Seeking Guidance from Change Hyung’ means that we should be trying to emulate the wisdom of the acclaimed independence activist. The exhibition will remain open until Dec. 12, from 10a.m. to 4p.m. in hall two. There are lots of analects and keepsakes of the man on display. Taking the time to visit and learning more about this great paragon would be a treat for many Dankookians.
