¡ã The opening of Dankook University ITRC

An opening ceremony for Dankook University’s (DKU) Information Technology
Research Center (ITRC) was held on September 8. The goal of the ITRC is to increase the competitiveness of our technology development by securing a source for wireless wearable software. Through research, DKU ITRC will develop a software structure which consumes less energy and acts as a security software for the IoT (Internet of Things). IoT is technology that connects devices through a wire-wireless network and exchanges information and processes so that they can work by themselves. The importance of IoT is increasing globally and our nation has decided to work towards being a leader in this technology. DKU expects to secure source technology to increase their market share and foster more than a hundred IoT experts. In addition, prototypes and commercialized cooperation agreements are being made with companies. DKU is expecting to develop technology that aims to ensure a safe and healthy life of our citizens by cooperating with companies with advanced medical technology.
