Because of a biggest political scandal, called as ‘Choi soon-sil scandal’, many universities participated or planned to participate declarations of state of affairs. Both campuses of Dankook University (DKU) also held declarations. On October 28,  Kkum-KKuneun (KKN), students Council in Jukjeon Campus held a declaration of the state of affairs at Jukjeon Campus. Approximately 400 students participate in this event by banding together, and being together. Also, many other students participate indirectly by signing to the declaration paper. During the declaration, Kang Sung-jin, the president of KKN, said “Seen from a public opinion, many students realized that Park Guen-hye is not qualified for the President of Korea.” Also he added that “All of the students and graduates learn the value of DKU. Although Choi Soon-sill was auditor of DKU, she had been ignoring such a value of DKU.”

Also, ‘Dawon’ Students Council of Cheonan Campus also advanced a view criticizing this situation on November 1. With these declarations of both campuses, many students pronounce their opinion through hand written poster, writing their online school community, or the other ways.
