On November 2, ‘Project How to Live Vol.1’ was held in the International Hall by Kkum-Kkuneun(KKN), a student council in Jukjeon Campus of Dankook University (DKU). PyoChang-won), a congressperson, gave a lecture on ‘How to Live for the Youth.’ He appeared amid the applause of the audience and introduced the questions getting through his SNS in advance. Most of the questions was connected with the current situation about ‘Choi, Sun-sil Gate’ and he explained that situation for about half of the lecture. Main of the questions was “In this current situation, what can the youth do?” and “What should we do?” and he answered that “It is so confusing, I know. But you shouldn’t be agitated remain a spectator in this situation. There are many things we can do and we should do.”

As the lecture was back to original topic he pointed out the question, “How do we live?” is seemingly simple and easy but it is the whole thing of a life. Dr. Pyo gave a concrete example about the late Cardinal Stephen Kim Su-hwan and advised that ‘Live like a fool’. The living like a fool essentially means a leading a blameless life for the people who follow you and who are beside you. “Of course, there are many mistakes I did, I do and I will do. However we should endure the shame from those even if it is so difficult,” he said. And he added that it is the most important value in life.

After his speech, there was a question and answer session. Some of the questions connected with current situation made Dr. Pyo be embarrassed but he answered earnestly. Many of Dankookians attended actively to the session and the lecture had been a meaningful time between one of the popular politicians in Korea and Dankookians.
