 Dankook University (DKU) baseball team won the National Sports Festival on October 26, 2017. They won for the first time since 1995, which makes it more meaningful. Since they won the quarterfinal of the tournament with Sangmoo, consisting with several pro players, the victory gave the players of DKU more confidence. Even though WonKwang University, DKU’s opposing team met in the finals, was a strong team, DKU baseball team ended up winning by 4:0. DKU Baseball director Kim Kyung-ho said, “After being appointed as a director, this is my first winning. So, I’m really happy and want to thank to a lot who help our team.” Besides, the basketball team of DKU held the second rank in the same competition.
