▲ The President Jang Ho-seong is giving a speech at the 70th anniversary ceremony.

 On November 3, 2017, Dankook University (DKU) celebrates its 70th school anniversary. To look back on the past 70 years, a ceremony was held on November 2 Thursday, in the Music Hall. There were several honored guests, alumni, and faculties to celebrate the anniversary. First, the Secretary General of School Corporation of DKU briefly went through the 70 years of DKU history. In the awards ceremony, faculties who have served for a long time or have contributed a lot were awarded by the Chairman of Board, Jang Chung-sik. Pastor Jang Jong-hyun, founder of Baekseok University and Baekseok Culture Unversity, also a DKU alumnus was given the Beomeun Prize. Beomeun Prize is a new prize for DKU alumni who have contributed to the society and practiced the DKU’s pursue of veritas and service.

 The President Jang Ho-seong gave a speech containing two messages; commemoration at 70 years of DKU education and aims for our future. The President Jang also awarded faculty members and Dankookians (students of DKU) that have made great progress in various fields.
