 Groundbreaking Ceremony of 70^th Anniversary Memorial Hall was held on April 8, 2018 in Dankook University (DKU). The 70^th Anniversary Memorial Hall is for celebrating DKU’s glorious history. Nearly 100 Dankookians, including DKU president Jang Ho-seong, the chairman of the board Jang Chung-sik, the chairman of DKU alumni association, and the Student Council, took part in celebrating the groundbreaking ceremony. The 70^th Anniversary Memorial Hall will perform as a multipurpose space to cover not only the history of DKU, but also convention hall and lounge.

 In particular, the president Jang Ho-seong said, "It will be a place for university alumni to remember, a place for students to feel proud to be members of DKU, and a place for visitors to introduce the spirit of DKU.” The construction is scheduled to be completed on January 31, 2019 and it will give a glimpse into history and the future in one place.
