On November 24th, Choi In-hyuk, the Vice President of Naver, gave a lecture on what the 4th industrial revolution is, what strategies Naver is taking on, and what capabilities Dankookians (Students of Dankook University) should be prepare for the fourth industrial revolution. Mr. Choi told us that the world changes rapidly.
Mr. Choi plans to build a big data server center in Chun-cheon, Gang-won Province to meet the needs of consumers and businesses and constantly collecting and analyzing big data. Through this process, he pursues that companies and consumers both can get profits each other.
As the economy of Korea get worse, it is a serious problem for students to get good quality of job. With its problem, he advice that it is important to be good at one area rather than in many areas, and it is good to be an expert in one field.
These days many students are lack of patience in learning such as professional process. He addressed that we should not give up and keep going, even if the process takes a long time. At last, he hoped this lecture will help a lot to Dankookians.
