On November 1, there was a special concert in Dankook University Concert Hall of Nanpa. This concert took place to celebrate the Bumjung Jang-hyung, the founder of Dankook University and the centennial anniversary of the establishment of a provisional government. Under Lee Young-hwa professor’s conduction, the orchestra started the concert from Bumjung symphonic poem. After that, a number of classical music was played by the proud alumni, including ‘Turandot’ of Puccini, and ‘Romeo and Juliet’ of Gounod. After the orchestra and the opera singer’s performance, Jang Choong-sik, board president of Dankook University himself sang a song in front of the audience.
Thanks to the Alumnus Concert, students of Dankook were able to appreciate classical music in school and watch the alumni talent.
