Dankook University’s Center for EduTech Innovation (CETI) will hold a 21-2 Creativethon competition in November. Creativethon is a mobile application creating contest using the design thinking method that is held every semester. Dankookians (Students of DKU) can develop computational thinking through making mobile applications and coding.

In the 21-1 Creativethon, a total of 170 people participated. 53 people from 12 teams won an award, including 24 people from 6 Jukjeon Campus teams and 29 from 6 Cheonan Campus teams. The grand prize winner of the Jukjeon Campus was Team On-dal, who made a mobile application for blind women to predict their menstrual cycle based on temperature. For the winner of Cheonan Campus, Team Dan-liaise made a mobile application connecting the deaf and non-deaf to ensure deaf people's right to learn.
The 21-2 Creativethon’s preliminary round will be held in late November and the finals in mid-December. Dankookians that participate in the competition will receive 40 Young 熊 Story mileage. There will be 500,000 won in prize money for the two grand prize-winning teams, 400,000 won for the four best prize teams, and 300,000 won for the six excellence teams. In addition, the Creative Idea Design competition, special lectures about ‘Creative Talents’, and ‘Creative Factory’ are also scheduled in November. When participating in these events, Dankookians can get 40, 25, and 25 mileages each.
The 21-2 Creativethon competition is only for Dankookians who take the ‘Introduction to College Basic SW’ course in the second semester.
