Dankook University's Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) has finished recruiting teams for the Dan-Learning Club during the 2nd semester. The Dan-Learning Club is a student-centered and self-learning community of student teams formed to achieve a goal. CTL is conducting the program to encourage and support Dankookians (Students of DKU) in improving 6 competencies: self-dedication, professional knowledge, universal value-seeking, critical deliberation, self-nurturing, and assertive articulation.

Dankookians can apply for different clubs depending on which goal they aim to achieve through the program. The club largely divides into Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular clubs. The Co-Curricular Club divides into two smaller clubs; Study Club, which forms to support conducting team-based classes, and Global Club, to support major coursework for international Dankookians. However, Dankookians planning to participate in a Co-Curricular Club should note that you can only join when the professor of the course applies for the program. Another type, Extra-Curricular Club divides into Fu-ree Club, Do-learn Club, Fresh Club, and Home Club. Fu-ree Club is for teams formed by Dankookians from different majors to share information about one or more themes, and Do-learn Club is for teams pursuing self-improvement such as getting certificates. Fresh Club is for teams that only consist of freshmen, and Home Club is only for Dankookians living in dormitories.

In addition to competence development, participants can receive various benefits. Teams can receive 50,000 won in subsidies to buy activity-related books. Also, every participant will earn 55 Youngê¨ Story mileage, and the team leader can earn an additional 10 mileage. Lastly, teams with remarkable achievements can get additional mileage and a prize from the Best Practice Contest at the end of the semester.
