On March 8th, Dankook University (DKU)’s Cheonan Campus student council ‘Bitdam’ held events marking Women’s Day. The events were held both online and in front of the Yulgok Memorial Library.

   Bitdam had prepared an online event presenting vouchers to randomly selected Dankookians (Students of DKU) who had completed a mission. The mission was to share Bitdam’s Instagram post introducing Women’s Day and upload a photo participating in one of the Women’s Day events. Another online event was writing an acrostic with the word ‘Women’s Day,’ and Dankookians who had submitted it was gifted vouchers. On campus, the council provided a Women’s Day kit consisting of products such as sanitary pads, feminine wipes, lip balms, and hidden camera detecting cards to all Dankookians. The council also prepared mini-games to give out additional gifts. There were games such as bottle cap Olympics, flicking bottle cap with fingers to the gift, or ping-pong ball game, throwing a ping-pong ball into a cup.

   The first-come, first-serve basis events lasted about 3 hours due to Dankookians’ enthusiastic participation. It was a good time for Dankookians to learn about Women’s Day.
