From September 16 to November 19, Dankookians (Students of Dankook University) can apply their book report with books from the ‘Science Talk Book List 20.’ This event is held by Dankook University’s Basic Science & Math center to help those who are preparing for a career in science.

   An overview of this activity requires simple procedures. First, select one book from the Science Talk Book List on DKU Portal and apply for the event. Second, read the selected book. Lastly, write the review summary and submit it. Through evaluations by professors, a prize will be awarded to the winner. The review outline deadline is 11 a.m. on November 29, and the results will be announced on December 8 through individual notices and the center's website. The dean will award certificates directly to the awardees.

   Those who have previously participated in the event should not select the same book. In addition, you must take part in the survey on the right side of the submission box for the Young熊 Story ‘Science Book Talk’ task to be considered for evaluation.

   As the second semester is ongoing, the Dankook Herald hopes that Dankookians who are interested in science and reading books participate in this event and get steps forward in their job career.
