The Dan-book Festival, a book report competition hosted by the Writing Center at Dankook Liberal Arts College, will be held from November 14 to 18. Any Dankookians (Students of Dankook University) from the Jukjeon Campus, excluding graduate students, can participate.

   Starting with the essential book Novel Written by AI (Park Geum-san), the festival has selected six ‘recommended books’, including Homo Deus (Yuval Harari) and Zivilisation (Norbert Elias). Participants should read at least two books, including the essential ones. Furthermore, participants should write about the problems and creative solutions of the future society presented in the book under the theme of the future and human nature. The report and application form must be posted on the Young熊 Story website during the 5 days, and the report must be at least three sheets of A4 paper. The results will be announced on the website and through individual notifications on November 30. Regarding the awards, from the top honor to third place will receive prize money along with the award.
