Interested in detailed training on semiconductors? Dankook University (DKU) is providing a curriculum for training semiconductor professionals for such students. Along with the new major Convergence Semiconductor Engineering in the Engineering College in mid-June this year, the Foundry Engineering Department opened at the Graduate School of Engineering in September.

DKU is currently investing heavily in fostering talent in the semiconductor industry. DKU won three national professional manpower training projects consecutively, including system semiconductor design, system semiconductor fusion, semiconductor defect analysis, and quality management. It was also selected as the host of the national project ‘Digital New Technology Talent Training Innovation Sharing University Project.’ This project is an innovation-sharing university project in which 46 universities train 100,000 key talents in new digital technologies such as next-generation semiconductors, future cars, and bio-health. Professors from Dept. of Electronics and Electrical Engineering and four other departments are planning to give interdisciplinary lectures.

For those of you aspiring to know more about semiconductor engineering, why don’t you satisfy your curiosity?
