  Dankook University (DKU) has joined the government's 1,000-won breakfast project, a nationwide initiative aimed at reducing food waste and promoting healthy eating habits. As inflation rates continue to rise, more people are turning to this project as a way to save money on breakfast while still receiving nutritious meals. The response from Dankookians (Students of DKU) has been amazing, with many expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to access affordable and healthy food.

   In Jukjeon Campus, Dankookians can enjoy breakfast at the Hyedang Hall Cafeteria between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on weekends from May 1 to November 30. It The meal includes five side dishes and is served to the first 100 students in the order of arrival. Likewise, in Cheonan Campus, breakfast is available at the Student Union Cafeteria three times a week, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. from May 2 to November 30. The meal includes three side dishes and soups and is available to the first 70 students who arrive. In conclusion, breakfast is priced at 1,000 won for both campuses, but it is not available during holidays and vacation periods.
