   To rejuvenate Dankookians (Students of Dankook University) who yearned for a break from their monotonous daily routines, the eagerly anticipated festival, "Midnight Dankook," took place from May 17 to May 18 at Dankook University's Cheonan Campus.

   The event featuring an array of department booths, club performances, and enticing food trucks, provided Dankookians with the delight of school life. Several departments operated booths that emphasized the characteristics of their departments and they contributed to many students' diverse experiences. For instance, the Dept. of Chinese Studies booth tantalized visitors with delectable Chinese-style fried rice Collaborating with the Sculpture and Crafts Design Majors, a ghost house experience booth was set up to infuse the atmosphere with a thrilling sense of delight. Additionally, various booths offered refreshing and cool drinks to beat the summer heat, along with hosting an assortment of entertaining games. Students spent a special time on campus through various foods and unique programs. Furthermore, students showcased their extraordinary talents and passions through captivating performances. On the Club festival stage, TNT showed an impressive rap and dance performance, leaving the audience captivated, while D-action showed a disciplined Taekwondo performance, inspiring awe among spectators. These amazing performances relieved the stress of the weary students, and the club members had a new experience on the stage. In addition, popular celebrities like PSY, 10CM, and Mommy Son attended the event with their performances to further enhance the celebrations. This sparked the energy and gave "Midnight Dankook" further excitement.

   The festival will forever remain a cherished memory as a midnight dream for Dankookians. It was a turning point for students and an opportunity to recover from their demanding daily lives. The Dankook Herald hopes that Dankookians will enjoy their school life and find happiness in every moment.
