On May 19, at 4:00 p.m, the DKU Festival-F4 began with an opening ceremony. The performance by clubs was arranged as follows; the Hip-hop club TNT performed rap and dance, the Music club AMI, and the Rock band Gwang-gaeto sang some songs. Also the rock band that came from Sun Moon University visited the Festival of Choenan campus to offer their congratulations. The final performance was by the rock band Geo-woongs.

After the performance of clubs finished, the public lottery event of Baek-doo mountain-culture inquiry started. At 7:30 p.m, Gayo-gwangjang of Dankook Broadcasting System (DKBS); '09 秀~hada' commenced with greetings from Prof. Naewon Kang, the chief of Dankook Media Center (DMC), and congratulations from Hye-rin Shin, the director of DKBS. During each break for participants, there were quizes and dancing performances by TNT for spectators. While awaiting the result of awards, there was a celebration performance by the rock club, Geo-woongs. Judges awarded the winners prizes and the event was closed with an encore song by the winner.
