On these days, the most concern and problem may be definitely the economic crisis. University students must not be unconcerned with the crisis, related to their employment. You may have ever heard the fact from a media that a number of enterprises and people have troubles in the economic crisis. But, walking along streets, you may see the situation many people are crowded in a place such as a restaurant and even they line up to wait for 'paying money.' You, who see the situation, may think like this. "Today is economic crisis, isn't it? Why do people try to pay their money in the crisis? Is there something special in there?" So, The Dankook Herald meets personally people weathering the economic crisis, as we have curiosity about that they have something to attract people despite the crisis.

¡ÜBeing able to survive when trying on foot(a salesman in Robocop )

A man in clothes of Robocop stands in the city of Cheonan for two hours, from 6:00a.m. to 8:00a.m. The Robocop is a car salesman who was awarded the 2008 king of salesmen. Different from other salesmen, does he have a reason that he have to stand in the city every morning, even in the uncomfortable clothes? On the behalf of The Dankook Herald, the reporter interview him in the city of Cheonan

   Q. What is the reason that you have to stand in the city of Cheonan in the uncomfortable clothes 'Robocop' every morning?

   A. I have largely two reasons to do that. the first is for public relations. In other words, It is to let people know the presence of me, a salesman. The second reason is to give reliance to customers. They come to me with reliance, looking at me in the clothes every morning. I think the Robocop can be a stage to make customers trust me and do not hesitate to meet with me.

   Q. Save for the clothes, is there other factors to be given the award?

   A. Being in the Robocop is only the one of business activities as a salesman. Although I have elements such as a kind mind, required for salesmen, above all the main thing for me is to have endless efforts. After wearing off the Robocop, I also run and run and effort and effort to meet people as many as possible.

   Q. The competition is more severe not only in all the fields but in the field of sales in the economic crisis. What do you think it is needed for troubled people to survive in the competition?

   A. As I mentioned above, to survive is needed more and more efforts. To survive in the crisis is needed to run and run than others do. I think the important thing is to find answers while running until wearing out your shoes rather than just sitting to think.

¡ÜNot forgetting the nature in any troubles (Myeong-dong Pork Cutlet)

There is no something special in the signboard of the restaurant when you looking around. As far as I look the plate served, there are only some salad and a pork cutlet on a plate and a bean-paste soup and rice. But it is usual to wait for at least 30 minutes in lunch or dinner time. What magic does the head of the restaurant have to attract people in the economic crisis? I can hear about the magic from the head in person.

   Q. ten thousands won, the average price of the pork cutlet in your restaurant, is not cheap. Even in the economic slump may the price lay a burden on visitors. What reasons do you think your business is flourishing even in the slump?

   A. I know paying the price for a pork cutlet is burdened to customers. Our restaurant serves rice and the soup unlimitedly. But customers do not pay the price only to eat rice and the soup a lot. The ingredient to attract people is in our pork cutlet. There are no special sauces or special ingredients different from other restaurants. But I think we can offer satisfactions over the price, as serving the pork cutlet fried with clean oil and made from the meat of high quality. Customers are more sensitive to value, especially in the economic depression. Many among the first visitors actually have complained about the price just when looking at the menu board, however, no one has complained after having a meal. In spite of the depressed time, when many businesses gain more profits by lowering the price of the ingredients, serving constantly the food of high quality may be 'the magic' to survive in the economic slump.

Throughout the world as well as , the economic crisis makes countless enterprises and people go to bankruptcy. And following the fall of enterprises, holes for University students to enter are narrowed more and more. However, being discouraged and collapsed at the economic crisis may not be the right answer. Spirit of flexible challenging and unyielding effort; the two things are required for success. As reading the interviews of the two people introduced above, you can see the loophole to survive in the serious crisis.
