Let's get in more detail with expert of group work! We are going to talk about results of survey and difficulties with him. First of all, saying about expert's profile, his name is Gang Sin-Hyoung whose major is Dept. of Public Administration. He pleaded us not to reveal his age, so we will keep it as a secret! Anyway, he won third grade in making presentation contest of national university students. Also he won a prize at a paper contest of national university which hosted by Chungnam-do!

After doing a survey, we realized students have difficulties in 'Assigning a role.' I asked him for solution. He was embarrassed when he had heard it, because he also think this part is very difficult. You know, this is the most difficult parts when preparing group work. There needs to be a team work in group task but when complaints grow bigger, it is easy to just collapse. "In that situation, the best solution is a consideration for others." So to speak, one person sacrifices first for them, they also sacrifice as they feel sorry to you. That affects all group students! He advises know-how. "Women can do better than men in decorating, so men find material and women make power point!"

¡ã Each group is making a presentation.

Next one is "I have no idea in the elements of valuation." For this, expert says "The first part of professor's evaluation is team work", and "If you want to show him or her that your team work is great, you have to unity contents of presentation and terms." If you keep unity, your contents would be also completed. Certainly, you have to know characteristics of that lecture and contents. Also, it is true that you have to listen what professor is saying.

If you have a team assignment, you cannot avoid presenting your view. Not a few students will worry about expressing their view, because they think much harder than team assignment. Dankookians responded on the survey appealed 'Stumbling words which can appear in the lack of experience' and 'Difficulty of memorizing the contents they will present.' The expert in presenting and team assignment answered that saying in front of friends on same team can help to solve the problem like 'Stumbling words.' And he said advice about second difficulty "If you guys have a difficulty of memorizing the contents, just use key words." He said another tips "You cannot remember them, you can write them on your hands and present your part." Here is an attention; you should not keep reading the words on your hands!

The next hardest thing about presenting was 'I don't know where I should keep my eye on.' As like previously mentioned, expert said "It can also be solved by practising with friends on same team," "If you guys cannot do eye contact, you constantly keep gazing at a spot on left, middle and right again and again," "It will help you feel less embarrassed."

These new education systems will keep appearing on more and more classes. The today's society was changed in the twinkle of an eye and it will become quite complicated much more than now. So you won't be able to get exact answer from difficult problems by yourself, but team project will have you get an answer by sharing information with others and presentation will make you improve the skill to communicate more accurately and clearly with your boss or buyer. You know, many students do not want these and feel pressured to them, is there a need for a thinking shift about them? Why don't you think them as an opportunity of knowing who you are and what weakness you have or what strength you have for your successful future social life?
