The Department of Fashion Merchandise Design held their 15^th Graduation Show ‘Palette’ on the 14^th of November 2018. The event is held at 7 pm in the Event Hall on the 3^rd floor of the Fabric Center Building in Gangnam District, Seoul. It was a grand scale show presenting works of students that they pour their blood, sweat and tears into making to the audience for the first time. Teachers, close friends and families of the graduating students all attended the event to enjoy the exquisite clothing designed by the students and walked down the runway by models from YG K-plus.

 The fashion show was separated into five different stages, starting with the topic “Color Palette Generators” where clothing designs were presented through various textures by choosing one of the 13 colors. It was then followed by “Re: Boot” where designers take a simple dress or fabric and transform it into a ready-to-wear clothing. During the 3^rd stage: “Hommage”, designers takes inspiration from ‘something’ and presents it after reconfiguration. The topic for the following stage is called ”我(나)” which also translates as ‘me’ in English where designers present different tastes and styles based on each designer’s personality and ego. Finally, “Das Geistige Tierreich” which means the spiritual animal kingdom in German exhibits the designers’ creative interpretation of unique animals.
