¡ã President of student council, Min-Seok Choi (Dept. of Economics, Senior) and vice-president of student council, Hyun-Woo Jung (dept. of Chemistry, Junior)
Min-Seok Choi (Dept. of Economics, senior) was elected the president of the student council supported by many dankookians. He was previously a member of the student council and chairman of the student welfare committee for development and changed our university. DKH revealed the plan of the 43th student council which he will lead with his experience.

Firstly Min-Seok Choi mentioned about opening gates on Toegye Memorial Central Library's first floor. He said that "The gates, on the first floor in the Library, are always locked. So, students who study on the first floor must go up to the second floor and down when they want to go out. It is very inconvenient. The student council has been talking about opening the gates with DKU. "From as early as the beginning of March, the gates will be opened. It is helpful for students' convenience," "Besides, the square of Beomjeong Hall which is linked with the gates will be also invigorated through opening the gates." And then he added about the welfare of Woongbi Hall (Dormitory) where many students complained about the problems of air-conditioning, heating, hot water and meal time. "Woongbi Hall has been operated by another company not DKU. So, it is hard to accept the claims from students living in the dormitory. However, DKU is negotiating to buy Woongbi Hall with the company now," "If Woongbi Hall is under the foundation of our university, we will grasp the problems about air-conditioning and eating. Especially we focus on solving problem about meal times with the coupon system. It will help you have a meal whenever you want." Additionally, he said "We've tried to negotiate with the bus association for increasing the number of buses that circle DKU, also we will try to remake the environment of DKU like creating space for culture and opening SNS for dankookians."
