Dankook University (DKU) is home to hundreds of international Dankookians (Students of DKU) from all over the world. While studying abroad comes with great excitement and opportunities, they also need help with adjusting to a foreign country and uncertainty regarding many factors. One of the student body organizations that helps with those problems is the DKU International Student Association (ISA). They assisted International Dankookians in adapting to DKU by holding events such as freshmen orientation and Dankook International Students Sports Day last year.

ISA runs a podcast program for International Dankookians starting this semester. The Dankook Herald (DKH) interviewed Wong Tzexuan (Junior, Dept. of Fashion Design), the Head of Public Relations of ISA, about their activities and the new program. Wong Tzexuan shared that ISA organizes all sorts of activities that are helpful for International Dankookians to get to know one another and adjust in Korea. As a result, the “ISA Gotta Say” podcast will also help to connect international Dankookians from all over the world. The project started in March 2024, and they are hoping that it will continue as a regular program. Listeners can check out the podcast on Instagram, Xiaohongshu, and YouTube on Sunday every 2 weeks. ISA Podcast program is recommended for everyone as it provides a lot of information about the life of international Dankookians in Korea which is very helpful to all students. Particularly, the highlight of this podcast is that it can give valuable advice to foreign students while passing on school-related information. Not only podcasts, but ISA has been also planning many other activities for international Dankookians to enjoy and asked for continued interest.
