On April 14, the Special lecture of Koun, a poet and a chair-professor of DKU, was held in the performing center of College of Arts of Cheonan campus. The subject of this lecture is 『 Meeting the Sea 』which explained the implication of the sea as Koun's unique sensitivity and lectured on his work. Koun published a book of poetry,〔Man In Bo〕last year. Until now, the number of his work was translated into 20 languages, which broadens the horizon of Korean culture. The Dept. of Creative Writing was supervising this special lecture and planned this lecture for providing a to talk with a world-famous poet and promoting the cultural exchange between the university and community.
