The Basketball Team of DKU won the championship in the final of 'The 66th National Championships' August 5 in Daejeon Hanbat Stadium. Our university demolished Korea University, a strong basketball team by a lot of points in the first game of the preliminary round. Our university qualified for the final by beating other universities. DKU and Dongguk University met again in the final. Thess two teams repeatedly took the lead from each other. At last our university won by a hair's breadth. Our university stood at the top of the university basketball. The director, Bong-Goon Jang stated his feelings about having received the award. "The continuous support of our university finally came to fruition. This victory also celebrated the professionalism of our team." With the win, DKU has won MVP and the best coach award.
