The team of DKU Students Volunteers was voted as the excellent team in 'Science Sharing And Mentoring(SSAM)' which was hosted by Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity. There were about 660 students from 93 teams participating in the volunteer activity for elementary schools and social welfare facilities from July 25 to August 14. Our university produced 5 participants in SSAM. Among those who participated, 'Jjang gu 737'[Eun-Jung Lee(Jnior, Dept. of Special Education), Mee-Ji Lee(Senior, Dept. of Science Education), Min-Jung Kim, Eun-Hye Kim, Joo-Won Jung(Sophomore, Dept. of Science Education)] was voted as the excellent team. Official of our university volunteers said, "SSAM is a donation activity which takes advantage of student's creative ideas. Through this creative experience program, we could encourage more students in deprived areas to be more interested in science."
