¡ã The president of DKU, the president ofIndustrial Bank of Korea, and the boss of KoreaAsset Management Corporation.

On March 31, Dankook University (DKU) reached an agreement with the Industrial Bank of Korea and the Korea Asset Management Corporation that will help North Korean refugees with small business start-ups. The agreement called ‘Support for Business Startups for North Korean Refugees’ will help the refugees to settle other countries safely and do economic activity. It consists of case studies, finance, education and opportunity to restart business. DKU will take the lead in managing the set-up of the new enterprises and will serve as fund-raising. DKU will also provide support for the small business start-up and will
offer business education, while the bank will support funding and the corporation will support to give the refugees an opportunity to be business starters. The three institutes hope to help launch successful new businesses in partnership with those refugees trying to make a new life. All three parties hope the agreement will help the country to prepare for the age of reunification.
