During this year’s festival at Dankook University (DKU), two Hope Talks were held in the Student Theater of the Student Union building from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The first talk was hosted by Kim Yong-chol on May 13. He is a Korean comedian who is good at English. He explained about how to study English and the most successful methods for studying based on his own experiences. He also encouraged Dankookians to try new things.
The second talk in the series was hosted by Kwak Jung-eun on May 14. She is a reporter and a well-known author who writes about relationships. Her talk focused on 8 unsolved questions of dating and provided solutions based on her anecdotes. She also used the time to answer questions from the audience regarding their relationship problems.
