 Cavalleria Rusticana is an opera in one-act play by Pietro Mascagni and it has been performed since 1890. Love story in this opera makes audience have deep thought about love and jealousy. Also, this opera is famous for beautiful arias such as ‘Voi lo sapete’, ’Tu qui, Santuzza’, ‘O Lola’, and etc.

 Opera Muse consists of professors, graduate students and enrolled students of Dankook University (DKU). And they performed this opera on September 24 and 25 at Yongin Poeun Art Hall. Quality of this performance was undoubtedly great. Also, they put explanation to this realistic opera so that they could make audience understand it more easily.

 Opera Muse of the DKU is an opera company for Korean talented voice who can go out to the global. Also, by opening a master course of opera major at first time in Korea, the DKU makes an effort to foster talented people who are suiting for opera.
