▲ College of Life and Resource Science gets the first prize at Anseo Festival.

 On September 29, Dankook University (DKU) held athletics competition for Cheonan campus. Unlike the sports festival which is going to be held in Jukjeon campus, it only held just for one day 9a.m. to almost 6p.m. Representative of each department began checking students’ attendance at the beginning of the festival. 6 teams of students made performance of cheer competition. A lot of boys and girls did dance and gave a shout of joy for the score of their teams. Right after lunch time, a lot of Dankookians gathered for their biggest match of ‘Dodge Ball’, ‘Soccer’, ‘Basketball’ and ‘Kick Ball’. Most of team scores were achieved in this match. Students cheered for the victory of their own team and be delighted or disappointed. After these big games, there were also many mini games such as ‘Treasure Hunt’, ‘Obstacle Race’, ‘Flip the board’, ‘Traditional Korean game of stepping on each other’s back for one person’, and ‘Tug of war using car tire’. Many students loved to these activities and comforted each other for their defeat. The last match was ‘Relay Race’ which was cliché item for this athletics festival. Finally, closing ceremony and awards ceremony were proceeded simultaneously. The prize was given to only 2 colleges. ‘College of Public Service’ held second rank and received speaker amp for a prize. And the top honor was ‘College of Life and Resource Science’. They got refrigerator for a winning prize. And the Anseo Sports Competition ended successfully with no one getting hurt and no problem.
