▲ Dankook University (DKU) held a celebration of 69th school anniversary at the Music Hall.

Dankook University (DKU) is the first private university that has been established after Korean regained independence. And, DKU and Dankookians (students of Dankook University) celebrated the 69^th anniversary of its founding on November 2.

 On that day, there was a celebration for the anniversary in the Music hall. The celebration consisted of a memorial ceremony for founders of DKU, an awards, congratulation events and commencement of honorary doctorate. Employees or professors who get good results of their work were awarded. And Kim, Young-gook, a CEO of Dongsung enterprise, got an honorary doctorate.

 In addition, Dankook Media Center made a video of relay singing school song. Dankookians in Instrumental Music played instruments and many Dankookians including The Dankook Herald  participated on this event.

 Meanwhile, DKU announced new emblems to celebrate next 70^th school anniversary. The number ‘70’ means the time that DKU has been through and the bear symbolizes of DKU. This emblem has been created by Dankookians at the contest.
