DK Roadmap is a preparatory school program for freshmen, especially aiming for those in the Class of 2024 and 2025. The entrance ceremony was skipped for students in the class of 2024, last year in 2020, but it was progressed through the DK Roadmap program this February. The official purpose of this program is these three virtues. One is to provide basic information for college life to freshmen. Two is to make students better understand their majors and provide opportunities for career exploration. Last is to cultivate the values and skills that one should possess as a Dankookians.

The program consists of five main parts. Online entrance ceremony, introduction to Jukjeon Campus and Cheonan Campus, extracurricular program and Youngê¨ Story introduction, major department program. Lastly, for the Jukjeon Campus, a multidimensional personality test was provided, and for the Cheonan Campus, Mind Fit adaptive competency test was prepared. Students took part in this program through the e-learning campus as if they did last semester to take general classes.

For the first content, the entrance ceremony was conducted on February 23, 2021 for students in the class of 2025. Under the guidance of the 2.5 steps of social distancing, only those under 50 attended the ceremony. Other students could watch the ceremony through uploaded videos after the event. On the other hand, the ceremony for the class of 2024 was only conducted through online video. In the second part, our university's history, major institutions, facilities, and business were introduced. Next, the extracurricular program and Youngê¨ Story provided by our school, the learning capability enhancement program (STEP), and finally, the guide to the Dan A.I. were announced through a 50-minute video. For the major department program, each university of professors and staff prepared special lectures for their students to let them know more about their majors and curriculum. Lastly, the multidimensional personality test and the Mind-fit adaptive competency test link were distributed to the students through message. Through the link given by the message, students took a test and received test results which show their strengths inside. After that, interpretation lecturers from the University Life Counseling Center held zoom meetings for each major department and explained the result the students received.

Only those who completed the program will be given one credit. This grade is very important because it is necessary for graduation requirements. The program began in earlier February, but interpretation lectures are continuously being prepared for students who have not yet completed it. Also, the course has been extended until March 26 for them. DK roadmap contains lots of important events which the students in the Class of 2024 were supposed to take before starting school last year of February. So, if you did not finish this program yet, you should hurry up to finish it through the e-learning campus.
