During the first half of this year, ‘Dosan Lounge’ on Jukjeon Campus and ‘DYL Lounge’ on Cheonan Campus were newly opened in Dankook University. These were established by DKU Innovation Support Project, in an effort to provide better educational conditions for Dankookians (Students of DKU).
‘Dosan Lounge’ is located on the third floor of the ‘Toegye Memorial Central Library’ of Jukjeon Campus. It is a place where Dankookians can focus on their studies in a pleasant environment through freely discussing and maximizing their creativity as it has private study rooms on a small scale, self-study areas, and a lounge. Above all, there is an ‘employment and interview room’ that can be used by job seekers.

‘DYL Lounge’ is located on the second floor of the ‘Yulgok Memorial Library’ of Cheonan Campus. The ‘DYL Lounge’ official said that it has a study cafe concept, and a lot of popular comic books and magazines are interspersed there, so students who are tired of studying can have a smashing break time. Moreover, there are comfortable chairs such as ‘beanbag’ to help Dankookians relax. In particular, the spot that uses ‘beanbag’ is very popular with Dankookians as ondol, Korean floor heating system is installed. Like this, both ‘Dosan Lounge’ and ‘DYL Lounge’ are comfortably furnished to promote Dankookians’ learning and break.
