‘The Native Speaker Tutoring Program’ is a class for conversation and cultural exchange with foreign exchange students. Anyone enrolled in Dankook University in the first semester of 2021 can apply for this class. Dankookians (Students of DKU) who have taken a leave of absence, graduates, and those taking an extra semester are also eligible to apply. Dankookians get a three-hour-long class once a week during the program, and it runs for 40 hours of classes over 13 weeks. The team consists of one foreign exchange student and five Dankookians. You can apply for a total of six foreign languages, English, Chinese, Japanese, French, German, and Russian. Dankookians are divided up into beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels according to their ability. The tuition is free. However, if the attendance rate stands at less than 70 percent, you will be disqualified to apply for international programs in the future.

Students can receive a completion certificate upon finishing this course. Besides, the majority of Dankookians have applied each year as advantage points were given to them when applying for the student exchange program or education programs. For those of you who love learning foreign languages, this may become a nice option to quench your thirst for knowledge!
