On September 21 and 22, the autumn festival, 2022 DANFESTA, was held at Dankook University (DKU) Jukjeon Campus.

Surrounding Hyedang Hall (Student Union Hall), various food and mini-game booths attracted Dankookians (Students of DKU). There was also a popular tarot booth that formed a line until late at night. The drinking bars held by each department added to Dankookians’ enjoyment. The lively atmosphere of the festival spread to both Dankookians preparing for the performance and enjoying the festival. During the evening, famous singers and dancers like New Jeans, Lee Hi, Woo Won-jae, Loco, Simon D, MVP, Holy Bang, and Park Jae-beom put out an exciting show. Needless to say, the performance was extremely popular.

The Dankook Herald (DKH) could feel the excitement of Dankookians at DANFESTA. NRSC dance performers said they were thrilled and nervous about the scale of the festival, which has definitely grown, compared to the last spring festival. NRSC rap performers, who have experienced DKU festivals before COVID-19, said they hope junior Dankookians could enjoy their first fall festival more. The DKH also interviewed festival-goers. Yun Min-seo (Sophomore, School of Urban Planning and Real Estate) said she was excited to take a picture with Danwoong, the school mascot. Lee Yu-na (Junior, Dept. of Law) said watching the DANFESTA performance was special because she could truly experience the university festival culture.

DANFESTA is now over, but the heat of the festival remains in the hearts of all Dankookians. The festival maximized the joy and vitality of university life. Lastly, the DKH appreciates everyone who prepared for the festival and hopes that Dankookians enjoy the rest of their school semester.
