Recently, international exchanges in various fields, including student exchanges, have been activated, with officials from overseas sister universities visiting Dankook University (DKU) one after another to discuss ways to expand exchange students and multiple degree programs.

First, DKU promotes student exchange and graduate multiple degree programs with California State University Dominguez Hills (). Thomas Parham, the president of CSUDH, and officials visited Kim Soo-bok (the last president of DKU) to discuss exchange and cooperation measures focusing on expanding student exchanges and promoting double-degree programs in graduate school. Through discussions, the two universities decided to send two exchange students from the second semester of this year and to discuss ways to promote multiple degree programs in connection with computer engineering and cybersecurity-related departments to promote graduate research exchange.

Secondly, University of Nurturingen-Gaislingen (NGU) in Germany expanded its dual degree program. On April 3, 2023, Iris Ramme, a professor in charge of international exchange at NGU, conducting a multi-degree program with our university, visited and conducted a special lecture and a briefing session on the multi-degree program. Through this visit, it was decided to expand the existing dual degree programs in international business administration major (DKU) and financial management (NGU) to business administration (NGU).

As the international exchange program between DKU and its sister universities becomes more active, it is expected to help Dankookians (Students of DKU) improve their international competitiveness and strengthen their academic capabilities.
