Dankook sports festival started on October 26 has turned out to be successful with its end on October 29. There have been many kinds of sports such as football and basketball which took the beginning of the festival, along with dodge ball, relay race, tug of war and marathon. This time, because of the particular award ceremony, marathon catched people's attention. Including the winner and the semifinal winner, 62th and 113th received prize money, which respectively mean Dankook University's 62th anniversary and November 3rd, the date of its foundation. In the closing ceremony, the Dept. of Education won the honor of winning and the Dept. of Engineering became the semifinal winner. The Dept. of Business and Economy and the Dept. of Liberal Arts took the prize of cheering support as first and second respectively. And after the closing ceremony all students enjoyed a lot of entertainment at the art festival. The festival, started with ballet, dancing, modern dance, reached the peak with the appearance of a graduate of the university and a singer BADA (Sung-Hee Choi). The whole festival finished with tremendous fireworks.
